Axiom Proton Vanish
Axiom Proton Vanish
Axiom Proton Vanish 11 | 5 | -3 | 2
Unleash smooth, sweeping S-curves with the stunning Axiom Proton Vanish! Engineered as an 11-speed understable distance driver, the Vanish hits the absolute sweet spot in stability—sitting perfectly between MVP’s highly popular Wave and the ultra-flippy Orbital. Molded in Axiom's firm, translucent Proton candy plastic, this specific run inherently flies noticeably more stable than its Neutron or Fission counterparts, making it a highly reliable, power-responsive workhorse that resists turning over too quickly. Add this gorgeous, durable bomber to your Axiom Vanish Collection and expand your GYRO™ overmold Axiom lineup today!
<>Flight Numbers & Performance
The Vanish features official flight numbers of 11 | 5 | -3 | 2. Because of the Proton plastic's rigidity, players will find it pushes straight for a bit longer and fights back a little harder at the end of its flight compared to softer blends.
| Speed | Glide | Turn | Fade |

How the Proton Vanish responds to your arm speed:
- Slower Arm Speeds / Beginners: It tracks incredibly straight with heavy glide, making it an excellent introductory high-speed driver that won't immediately dump out or fade aggressively.
- Average Power: Executes beautiful, long-carrying S-curve distance flights on a flat release, leaning on the firm Proton plastic to ensure it fades back to center.
- High Power / Advanced Players: Serves as a controllable utility turnover disc or an excellent option for booming tailwind drives and long-distance hyzer-flips that need to glide forever.
The Proton Plastic Advantage
Axiom's Proton plastic is a highly durable, translucent "candy" blend that looks absolutely incredible in the sunlight. Beyond its stunning aesthetics, Proton is known for being slightly firmer than standard Neutron. In the Vanish mold, this added rigidity translates directly to increased high-speed stability. It withstands heavy tree hits beautifully, ensuring your driver retains its predictable, slightly more stable flight characteristics for years of heavy use on the course.
<>Explore Other Vanish Plastics
Because the Vanish is inherently understable, the plastic blend you choose will dramatically alter its physical performance out of the box. Check out these other premium options to dial in your bag:
- Fission Vanish: Features microbubble technology to push maximum weight to the outer rim. Stays airborne the longest and turns over the most naturally.
- Neutron Vanish: The flagship premium opaque blend. Offers excellent durability and stays truest to the advertised -3 turn flight numbers.
- Eclipse Vanish: Features industry-leading glow brightness. These runs are significantly more overstable than standard stock runs, initially flying closer to a -1 or -1.5 turn.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does Proton plastic change the flight of the Vanish?
Proton is a firm, rigid polymer. When a disc cools in this stiff plastic, it tends to mold up with a slightly higher parting line. For the Vanish, this means the Proton run will fly noticeably more stable than the Fission or Neutron versions, making it less likely to turn over into a roller when thrown with high power.
Is the Vanish a good driver for beginners?
Yes! While an 11-speed driver usually requires significant power, the understable nature of the Vanish makes it an excellent introductory high-speed driver for developing arms. It tracks straight and provides excellent glide without a punishing early fade.
How does the Vanish fit into the Axiom/MVP lineup?
The Vanish hits the sweet spot of stability directly between MVP’s highly popular, stable-to-understable Wave and the ultra-flippy Orbital. It provides a workable, high-glide flight that responds beautifully to the velocity and angle of your release.
