Arnica loves to grow in acidic soils, which is most soils here in the NW. They will grow well anywhere rhododendrons, conifers, or blueberries are thriving. In fact, I grow then as a groundcover under my blueberries. They spread underground and can quickly fill in with the right conditions. Awesome topically for pulls and strains. Can be toxic internally.
